Terms of Service

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

InterviewBoost ("the Administration" or "we") provides the following Terms of Service ("Terms") governing your use of the service available at https://interviewboost.io ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

1.1. Acceptance — full and unconditional agreement by the User to the conditions of these Terms.

1.2. Agreement — a binding agreement between the Administration and the User, concluded through Acceptance of these Terms.

1.3. User — an individual who has entered into the Agreement with the Administration under the conditions set forth in these Terms.

1.4. Service — the website located at https://interviewboost.io, including the AI-powered interview preparation tools.

1.5. Credits — a unit of account within the Service used to access paid features, including AI interview practice sessions. Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable.

1.6. AI Interview Practice — a feature of the Service that simulates a technical interview using artificial intelligence, including question generation, answer evaluation, and performance report generation.

2. Subject of the Agreement

2.1. Under this Agreement, the Administration provides the User with information and consulting services, including AI-powered interview preparation tools, AI interview practice sessions, resume assistance, and other services as described on the Service.

2.2. The User accesses the Service through a personal account.

2.3. The User agrees to keep personal data up to date, protect account credentials from unauthorized access, and refrain from sharing account access with third parties.

2.4. The User provides an email address for registration of the personal account.

2.5. The User is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their account credentials.

2.6. Updated versions of these Terms take effect on the date of publication.

3. Acceptance of Terms

3.1. Acceptance of these Terms occurs through payment, use of the Service's functionality, or any other interaction with the Service.

3.2. Before Acceptance, the User is obligated to review these Terms. If there are any questions regarding the interpretation of the Terms, the User may contact the Administration before Acceptance.

3.3. The Administration reserves the right to modify these Terms at its sole discretion.

3.4. By accepting these Terms, the User confirms their full legal capacity. Acceptance cannot be made by persons who lack legal capacity or are under the age of 18 (except in cases of legal emancipation).

3.5. These Terms operate in conjunction with the Privacy Policy. By accepting these Terms, the User also acknowledges and accepts the Privacy Policy in full.

3.6. In case of conflict between the Privacy Policy and these Terms, these Terms shall prevail.

3.7. Payments are processed through third-party payment service providers as indicated on the relevant pages of the Service. The User acknowledges that they have reviewed the terms and privacy policies of the payment service providers.

4. AI Interview Practice

4.1. The AI Interview Practice feature simulates a technical interview environment using artificial intelligence. It generates questions, evaluates user answers, provides feedback, and produces performance reports.

4.2. All AI-generated content, including questions, feedback, scores, and reports, is produced by automated systems and is provided for informational and educational purposes only. The Administration makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or relevance of AI-generated content.

4.3. AI-generated scores and evaluations are approximations and should not be treated as definitive assessments of the User's skills or qualifications.

4.4. The User acknowledges that AI models may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or biased content. The Administration is not liable for any decisions made based on AI-generated feedback or evaluations.

4.5. Each AI interview practice session consumes Credits from the User's balance. Credits are deducted upon sending a message during a session. The number of Credits required per interaction is determined by the Administration.

4.6. The User may optionally use voice input (microphone) during interview practice. Microphone access requires explicit browser permission. Audio is streamed to a third-party speech-to-text service (Deepgram) for real-time transcription and is not stored on our servers.

5. Credits and Payments

5.1. The cost of Credits is determined by the Administration and communicated to the User through the Service.

5.2. Pricing information is provided before purchase. Credits are purchased in packages as displayed on the pricing page.

5.3. The Administration reserves the right to change pricing at its sole discretion.

5.4. Payment is considered received when funds are credited to the Administration's account.

5.5. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Purchased Credits do not expire.

5.6. The Administration reserves the right to grant bonus or promotional Credits at its discretion.

6. Duration of the Agreement

6.1. This Agreement becomes effective from the date of Acceptance and remains in force for an indefinite period.

6.2. Termination of this Agreement does not affect the validity of other related documents, unless otherwise specified.

6.3. Either party may terminate this Agreement unilaterally by providing 10 calendar days' written notice to the other party.

6.4. Upon termination, any unused Credits remain non-refundable.

7. Liability

7.1. A party that fails to fulfill its obligations under this Agreement shall compensate the other party for any resulting damages.

7.2. The User is fully responsible for:

• Compliance with applicable laws
• Accuracy of information provided under this Agreement
• Accuracy of information provided during Acceptance
• The content of answers provided during AI interview practice sessions

7.3. The Administration is not liable for:

• Any actions that are a direct or indirect result of the User's own actions
• Any losses incurred by the User, regardless of whether the Administration could have foreseen them, except in cases of direct fault
• Accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of AI-generated content, including interview questions, feedback, scores, and reports
• Any employment outcomes, hiring decisions, or career results based on use of the Service

7.4. All information is provided "as is" without warranties of completeness, timeliness, or any other express or implied warranties. Access to and use of the Service is at the User's sole discretion and risk.

7.5. The User acknowledges that the Service may contain advertising. The Administration bears no responsibility or obligations in connection with such advertising.

7.6. Liability under this Agreement is limited to the price paid for the Service.

7.7. The User warrants the accuracy of information provided to the Administration.

7.8. The User agrees not to use automated tools for data collection or interaction with the Service without authorization.

7.9. The User agrees not to distribute content that promotes violence, hatred, or any content prohibited by applicable law.

7.10. The User agrees not to use the Service to generate, store, or distribute harmful, abusive, or illegal content through the AI interview practice feature.

8. General Provisions

8.1. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

8.2. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as establishing an agency, partnership, joint venture, employment, or any other relationship not expressly provided for in this Agreement.

8.3. Each party shall promptly notify the other party of any changes to their contact information or other circumstances material to the performance of this Agreement.

8.4. If a party's information changes during the term of this Agreement, that party must notify the other party within 5 calendar days, otherwise bearing all risks associated with the absence of such notification.

8.5. By accepting these Terms, the parties confirm that:

• They have read the Agreement and understand the meanings of the terms used
• They enter into the Agreement voluntarily and agree with its conditions
• They have the legal right to enter into the Agreement and perform the actions provided for herein
