3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

• Providing access to InterviewBoost features and functionality
• Conducting AI-powered interview practice sessions, including generating questions, evaluating answers, and producing performance reports
• Processing voice input via third-party speech-to-text services (Deepgram) for real-time transcription during interview practice
• Sending AI-generated content (questions, feedback, reports) to large language model providers for processing
• Sending informational emails related to the Service
• Improving service quality and user experience
• Processing payments and managing your account and credit balance

4. Third-Party Services

4.1. AI Language Model Providers — We use third-party AI model providers (such as Groq) to generate interview questions, evaluate answers, and produce performance reports. Your interview answers and session context are sent to these providers for processing. These providers process data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

4.2. Speech-to-Text Services — We use Deepgram for real-time voice transcription during interview practice sessions. Audio data from your microphone is streamed directly to Deepgram for transcription. Audio is processed in real time and is not stored by us after the session ends. Deepgram processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy.

4.3. Payment Processors — Payments are processed through third-party payment service providers (Platega, LemonSqueezy) in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms.

4.4. We are not responsible for the actions of third-party service providers regarding data processing.

5. Voice Data

5.1. When you use the voice input feature during interview practice, your microphone audio is streamed in real time to our speech-to-text provider (Deepgram) for transcription.

5.2. Voice audio is not stored on our servers. Only the resulting text transcription is saved as part of your interview session.

5.3. Microphone access requires your explicit browser permission and can be revoked at any time through your browser settings.

5.4. You may choose to type your answers instead of using voice input at any time.

6. Data Protection

6.1. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

6.2. Your personal data will not be shared with third parties except as required by applicable law, when necessary for providing the Service (such as AI processing and speech transcription), or when you have given explicit consent for the transfer of data to a third party.

6.3. Information collected by third-party services, including payment processors, AI providers, and communication tools, is stored and processed by those parties in accordance with their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions of such third parties.
